What is Cha Cha Cha?
Developed on the streets of Cuba, Cuban or Street Cha Cha Cha has been danced since the 1950s and is related to Mambo. It is a rhythmic partner dance characterised by the 2, 3, cha, cha, cha beat (slow, slow, quick quick, slow), syncopated moves and the cheeky chase between lead and follow. It differs from the more showy style of the ballroom cha cha cha that is dance in ballroom studios around the world, as it is more grounded and connected to the rhythm.

Once you have mastered the basics in salsa, bachata and merengue and are social dancing, we will introduce you to the rhythm of the Cha Cha Cha in our SL4 Latin Booster course, building your familiarity and moves as you progress. For the more advanced, we offer Cha Cha Cha lessons in technique and performance team opportunities as well.
